I cannot comment on Hero VI. But I can state that I observed my system's NVidia card over-heating (I have a GEForce 9800M GTS). The overheating manifested itself with hangs and crashes. I only discovered this by using MSI Afterburner -- The hardware monitor was able to tell me GPU usage, GPU Temp, etc. Then by using MSI Afterburner I was able to underclock my GPU (set it from 600 Mhz to 560 and set the memory clock from 900 to 800. This brought stability back to my system and now it does not overheat or hang on games I play. Of course there could just be a bug in Hero VI.
